Prior to participating in the Digital IQ workshop, I used Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, and my own website.

I wanted to learn more about the improved ways the NBN could help develop and promote my career. Also, I wanted specifically to know how to use the NBN to maximum effect, and learn new techniques for Internet promotion.

The workshop was very insightful, and I picked up a range of immediately helpful tips and tricks which I have successfully used to tweak my Internet presence. There are always ways to better adapt to new developments online. The Internet is always changing and evolving.

The NBN gives me faster internet access, better use of multimedia. This is very important for music business applications. Because I am based in Tamworth, regional access to the NBN gives my business similar advantages to being based in a major city.
